'04 Sedan with coupe Y-pipe and mid-pipe.

Well, lowering my sedan by 3/4" of an inch went well, but now the resonator scrapes when I enter/exit my ramped driveway.

Anyone have any success with raising the exhaust ever so slightly? Other solutions? Eliminating the resonator is something I don't want to do.

 

Try driving into your driveway at a 45 degree angle with respect to the driveway.

 

Yeah, can't do that. hedges on both sides of the entrance.

I'm looking for a mechanical solution, not a change to my driving habits.

Please nobody tell me to lose 40lbs, either

 

Postscript: it was the heat-shield and the flange on the Y-pipe.

Ditched the bottom half of the heat-shield and took a grinder to the bottom 1/4" if the flange. Problem solved.
