So I went to check out my airbox today to see how the filter is doing (MPG has been garbage so far and got the car 2nd hand so idk if it's been maintained properly).

And I went with the basic method of just taking out the rivots, unsnapping, and unscrewing that one bolt to the frame.
I took a peak inside and noticed it was pretty dirty.

But the real question... I noticed the bottom straps/clips werent even done at all when I began the process. Even when I tried to reassemble everything I realized it wasnt even physically possible, it just can not reach far enough from the bottom to do so.

How much of a big deal is this?

My hope is it isnt that much since the previous person who replaced it thought it was fine.
