Unhappy Bent rear "W" crossmember brace... suggestions?

I'm new to the g35 world and let me start by saying after a week... I can't imaging driving anything else!

The vehicle I got was a KILLER deal BUT it has a bent crossmember brace... Infiniti is trying to hose me for something like $300-400 for what is really not much of a part to begin with. It comes of with like 6 bolts and nothing is attached to it. i believe it keeps the steering tight?

My concern is that it has bent upwards and is now making the exhaust come very close to the drivetrain. If i go over a bump wrong it "kisses" it and makes a horrible noise...

Should i just get aftermarket? If so, what would you suggest? no wreckers in my area (Vancouver) have any wrecked G35s believe it or not... are there any other Infinitis or Nissans that use the same part?

Sorry for being such a newb in advance! lol

The rear tunnel stay just to adds rigidity to the body. If you want to replace it they're $150 new (may be different where your at) and takes like 10 minutes to install if that. Unbolt the 10 bolts and slide out the old and enter the new.

Thanks for all the help!!!

Any benefit in going aftermarket? More rigidity I suppose?? Probably not much more $$ so I figure I might as well??? Anyone done it?

EBay seems to be a bust. But Z1 looks good. Shipping to Canada is $300 though lol. May have to sent it to a PObox and swing down to grab it. Jeez. Hopefully I can find one at a wrecker. Thanks for the help!!!

Now to fix these damn clicking axles :/

I've been searching options to replace the tunnel stay as well because mine is rusted pretty bad. Does anyone know an aftermarket equivalent to the oem tunnel stay? I'd feel a lot better about spending $200+ on an upgrade vs just replacing a factory part if it's possible

Mines also heavily rusted. I wonder if the 4 post gt spec brace would suffice
