Battery Dies and VDC is Messed Up

I've had my 03 sedan for about two months now, I put in a new head unit a month ago that is having trouble getting power and will randomly shut off for anywhere from two seconds to half an hour. The old system had none of these problems. Anyway, that problem isn't critical, so I've been putting that off, and I'm just mentioning it in case it's connected. So I tried to start my car this morning and the battery was dead. I jumped it and after I left the driveway the car cut its power and the slip light and VDC Off light started flickering for about three seconds. The car was doing this about every ten seconds until I turned VDC off. But, VDC turned back on without my assistance and I just nursed the car to the shop down the block. When I got there I shut the car of and attempted starting it about four minutes later and the battery was one again dead. So I left the car there and they're doing an electrical analysis as I type. Has anybody else experienced anything like this? Any and all help is appreciated.

Well I feel like an idiot and I'm just embarrassed to tell you guys this but it was just a bad battery, and I paid $40 for a shop to tell me that...

Anyway, I just thought I'd post the solution in case anybody else has this same issue.
