What's good everyone just join new to the forum group.... bare with me.... I have a 2005 g35x 90,000 miles ... I had a fuse burn out next to the postive battery terminal on the car... The car shut down... .. I had to change the fuse next to the postive terminal and I needed a new battery. .. When the mechanic started the car it was okay.... until he put it in to gear he realize now the transmission is on 4 gear like a limp mode..... I need help!!!! Do I bring it to a transmission shop or is there some sort of reset for the t.mission.... HELP PLEASEDOMODOMODOMODOMO

 

This doesn't sound like an issue any typical transmission shop would take care of. For once, I am recommending the dealer for a diagnosis then go from there instead of wasting time and money at a transmission ship without the proper diagnosis tools for our car. The consult II system the dealers have is good in situations like this.
