need help with splashshield placement please

Hey community. Will someone please take a pic of exactly where this right fender splash shield sits? I can't figure out the placement, or find a picture. Trust me, asking for such simple help kills me, but we all get stumped sometimes. Thank you, it's driving me nuts!

Yes, passenger side. Left hand side of diagram. I can't figure out exactly how it sits, or where the clips mount, it was just sitting there the first time I pulled my main splash shield. I can't figure it out even with that diagram, which kills me lol. Thanks for the time and help in advance

63830N is the piece in question. I'm stumped by something so simple, and I couldn't find any actual pictures online to figure it out

Yeah I will when I change the oil this week, I forgot when I changed my clutch line and flushed my coolant. Last time I looked, car was on the ground, and I forgot to check when I had it on stands. I saw it in the garage this weekend and figured I'd ask

Not sure what car you've got. And the part in your picture appears to have a different part number on it than the one you're asking about.

Attached below is a pic from 2013 G37 service manual which shows a similar part and a bit more info on where it goes - see inset "A". Although I think this illustration is driver's side, it looks like it mounts on the engine side of the fender liner - approximately above the sway bar. Hope this helps.

Yeah the part numbers in the exploded diagrams don't match the actual part numbers of these cars. 04 6mt coupe

The Fender Protector for your car looks like only 2 pieces. Maybe the part you're wondering about isn't there?

The picture I posted above is the 2004 parts diagram from the parts section of infinitis website. I even checked the 04 350z parts diagram, they have one too. The pic is of a left fender so it's confusing trying to mirror it. Oh, and I found that piece hanging, it definitely goes there haha.

If that pic had the dotted lines going through the splash shield, I could figure out what mounting holes it uses, but it must mount somewhere else. It's no big deal I just have to get under there and try harder to figure it out. Last few times I had the car up I was under there for hours, didn't have the patience to figure it out

I'm thinking it doesn't use panel clips to go onto the fender liner. It must clip onto the bumper or onto the steel of the unibody somewhere

I know I just meant like it must not clip onto the fender liner.
