Leak found?

Hello is this hole supposed to be covered up? It’s located behind the battery.

That’s where the cabin air comes in from. It’s supposed to be open. You can actually see your cabin air filter too from there if you take a peak!

Remove the cowling above it to get a closer look, looks like its leaking at the top.

If water gets in there can that cause wet passenger seats?

Do you have a sunroof? Are your drains plugged with accumulated environmental debris? That's a common issue. Do a search. There are multiple threads and one in particular has good info on troubleshooting and how to clear the lines, with pics.

No. Where is the water coming from? The headliner is the only way the seat is going to get wet unless your windows were open.
