Water in passenger side floorboard

I'm so frustrated. I had my battery changed in my G37x by a tow truck driver and ever since, I now get water in the passenger side floorboard when it rains (seems to be coming in behind the glove box). I've taken the car in twice to a mechanic. The first time, they replaced a couple clips. Didn't fix the problem. Second time, they cleaned out my sunroof drains. Didn't fix the problem. I'm no car person but I swear it has something to do with some seal near the battery that must have been broken. Thoughts/suggestions, help!?

Improperly installed cowl would be my guess, possibly plugged cowl drain. It's probably coming in from the cabin air filter hole. Cabin air filter sits directly behind the battery.

Is that something a non-mechanically-inclined person (i.e., me) could unclog?
