Hello all,
I bought my 2006 G35 Coupe AT back in 2017 bone stock besides car stereo receiver upgrade been loving it so far. Current mods since I bought it are: whiteline adjustable sways both rear and front, z-tube with drop in k&n filter, RSR lowering springs with kyb sport struts & shocks,I 've been itching to buy the motordyne plenum spacer.
In July I decided to replace the car fluids, brake, diff, and transmission with a drain and fill. Then in October I got the code for front brake solenoid. I got the tcm replace with a remanufactured one (bad idea) same issue appeared, bought a new tcm and the issues were gone but now the transmission has developed a new problem.
I'll be in first gear driving slowly but when it's time for it to shift into second the idle spikes and doesn't shift. I have to let go off the gas to bring down the rpm and then press again on the gas for it to shift. It happens almost at every time when I'm taking off in the morning or when I'm at a stop. I've checked fluids, let it warm up but so far can't pin point it. No CEL thrown either, I was thinking maybe a ECU reset? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.I also have a recording of it if someone wants to see it I can email the 30sec clip.
