G35 coupe problems

Hey guys I found this post from a different source but I’m experiencing the exact same problems with my g35 right now the only difference is my dash lights didn’t go off just the lights from my ac/heat control seat warmers and gear shift lights my gear shift gets stuck in park and I have to use scissors to unlock the gift shift my tail light fuse blowed so I don’t have tail lights at night but the break lights work fine and my horn continued to blow until the fuse blowed does anyone know anything that could help me out or experienced this same problem?

Sorry for the pain you're encountering with your car.
To get more visibility, you may want to repost this to the appropriate portion of the forum. This area is for "basic hellos".
Sounds like you have a grounding /short issue. For your fuses to blow like that and lights / components to be charged, there's something definitely wrong with your electrical system.
I'd recommend referring to the electric section of the FSM, detach your ground on the battery, and trace the 12V and Ground for the components that are having issues. Look for wires that are loose, broken, or detached.
FSM can be found here on nicoclub for '04 coupes. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G35/Coupe/2004/

Good luck!

I moved it off to the correct location.

OP I would start by pulling every fuse in the fusible link, IPDM, and Fuse Block - J/B (cabin fuse block) and looking for the blown fuse. You are apparently having MULTIPLE problems and some of them are probably fuse related, if the circuit trips again then troubleshoot that individual circuit.

Brakes are commonly either the switch at the top of the brake pedal snaps off, inspect it for damage.

Disassemble the center console so you're down to the shifter assembly, walk the cable unlock linkage when you turn the key on, is it releasing the lock on the shifter? That cable linkage can break, or the attachment on the shifter can break.

So every fuse I found that was blown I replaced but continued to have issues. The fuse for the tail lights blow every time I replace it and when I replaced the horn fuse it continued to blow non stop so I removed it I’m just a little confused on any other fuse I should check that could be related to any of this. At the moment I’m checking my ground to see if anything it’s running to is out of the ordinary. Thanks for your help fellas

You have broken circuits, typically the tail light fuse blowing is because the wires that attach to the trunk through the flexible section end up breaking and making contact with metal.

Horn fuse might be a failed clock spring, do any of the other steering wheel controls work?

Yes they do the gear shift gets stuck in park and I have to use scissors in the shift lock to put it in gear the lights for my ac/heat control is out as well as my gear shift lights and seat heater lights I checked all of the fuses for those and they are fine I did find some wiring in the front that looks burnt out I’m not to good with the electrical stuff on my g35 so I will take a photo and upload it.
