Hi guys, this is my first post so forgive me if I am doing anything wrong here.

My G35 was totaled yesterday. I am interested in buying it back and repairing it myself, but my biggest concern is the frame in the front. The reinforcement bumper bar was damaged significantly, and may have bent the frame slightly to the point where a new reinforcement bar might not line up properly to bolt it on. If I had to custom-make a new reinforcement/bash bar, would this pass inspection? Anyone out there with custom bash bars that would know this?

If not, and going with an OEM reinforcement bar is my only option, how difficult would it be to spread the frame a little bit to get it back to it's original shape and get it all lined up?
