I'm receiving u1000 code from a valve body I installed few years back incorrectly, sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn't. Things I noticed after install AT indicator went blank, along with intermittent starting. After being fed up with it I pulled the valve body and discovered a possible culprit, there's an open wire on the TCM, more than likely causing the u1000 code as it has to do with communicating with the TCM. Mended and heat shrunk the wire, I was just wondering could this be my problem I haven't installed the valve body again yet I wanna make sure everything is good before I reinstall. The valve body was purchased from EBay refurbished.
Could definitely be the culprit, car won't start if the TCM doesn't tell the ECM it's in park/neutral.
My luck, after finding few exposed wires heat shrinking them and tucking them back in there clamps, I reinstalled the valve body correctly this time... Only still to be met with no start no crank, and the dreaded u1000. So I'm afraid I may have to drop the pan again. Drain the fluid I just put in there and open up the TCM to look for any breaks. I checked my AT CONT fuses, all seent to be good. I'm open to suggestions or any other ideas.

Late post.
And just guessing...maybe trans codes need to be cleared. I bought an Autel AL629 for this.
