Exclamation Fuel gauge and Speedometer stopped working.

I recently had a battery give out on me and when I replaced it the fuel gauge and speedometer stopped working completely. About a month later the battery died again and after charging it at Oriellys an reinstalling the battery, the fuel gauge started working again. I later found out there was a draw in the battery and it caused it to go dead again and after another charge and reinstalling again the fuel gauge again stopped working. I've checked the fuses, checked the wiring harness (what I can access) does anyone have any idea what would have caused those two things to become inop or have any of you had this same issue? The draw was fixed, an even tried resetting the ecu hoping they would work again an nothing. I'm hoping I don't have to replace the instrument cluster, but not really sure what else to check. Any help is appreciated 🙌

Below E now
I know I have gas. I read online to try the following
Fill the tank - wait days
Pull the fuse for the gas gauge - reinstall it
Unhook the battery - reconnect
any tips?

This happened before a few years ago but I don't recall why it started working again. I just thought it was magic.

Me again. I can't seem to find a fuse for the fuel gauge. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the battery

Based on my '06 sedan FSM fuse #81 in the IPDM sends power to the fuel level sensor AND the fuel pump (same unit in the gas tank). Pulling that fuse shouldn't have any effect because that circuit is off when the car is off (fuel pump relay). I don't know which fuses power the actual gauge cluster so maybe that's what you were reading about..

Fuel gauge problems are pretty common in our Gs so there is a possibility your failure is unrelated to the dead battery / jumping situation.

You can put your cluster gauge into test mode. That should make everything light up and your needles move to a certain point. If your fuel gauge still doesnt move then the problem is with your instrument cluster.

Heres how to do it:
