slide the small silver piece on the bottom down. theres a silver clip that should pull towards the radio, then pull the **** off.

Its not easy. You have to basically access the bottom of the shift boot to get at the steel shift "lever" I'm talking about the steel rod that you screw the shift **** on to, you need to have a parter/friend help you on this one. They need to get a wrench and clamp on tight onto the steel lever so it doesn't spin then you twist the **** off counter clockwise as hard as you can for a while and it'll come off... not easy to do but you can do it.

Hope this helps man

i just hacked the shaft down about an inch. i went as far as i could without cutting off the indents for the clip in case i want to go back to stock. it still sits a bit high for my taste so i might bite the bullet and just cut some more. i could always cut some new indents into the shaft if i want to go back to the stock **** later.ill get some more pics up after i take care of that.and i wont forget to resize them before uploading this time!!

Well bit the bullet and ordered a Titanium Nismo ****... figure if I'm going to ruin my old one taking it off to put on this GORGEOUS shift boot ... I might as well get a nice gorgeous new shift **** to complete the look!!
Thanks again for a great product... I'll have pictures up in about a week for ya when the **** and boot are installed!

(PS - I like your black aluminum so much it was tough to go with the titanium but we'll see how it all goes!)
