I took a look at that Tommy Kaira **** cover and that looks like a joke honestly especially for that price, its so easy to make and I would certainly give you guys a good deal here on G35Driver

I actually have one made for my own personal nismo ****, I'm going to make a new one for my titanium round **** also I should have some pictures up for you guys tomorrow afternoon. I should have 2 different styles to choose from. Price for something like this? $10-15 Shipped! depending on style and material

RE-update: hacked about another full inch off my shift rod. sits really nice now. very comfortable position...when my elbow is resting in the console lid, my arm is level with the console as my hand rests on the shiftknob. the only small problem is, about 1 out of every 3 times i put the car in park, the boot will bunch up and not allow it to fully engage in park. not a big deal. bump for an awesome guy with some quality work and materials!!

^ I bet the suede one wouldn't have that problem. Also, did you take pictures when you modded the shifer rod?

it might not but the suede isnt for me so ill just deal with it. i have a few pics of the rod before and after and i could snap some pics of the cut pieces if you need to see them. its pretty straight forward. remove the ****, cut the outer rod first to desired height, then you cut the inner rod to about 1/2 inch above the outer rod and then re-install your ****.

Lookin good man, if I knew you were going to modify it like this I would've sent you one that was custom made for your shorter shift rod so it wouldn't bunch up like that. Well if you ever get sick of that look and wanna change it up a bit hit me up for a discounted boot, thanks for the pix man I appreciate it!

i like the look of the way the boot sits now. just pinches inside a bit. im happy with it.i think it woud be silly if it were stretched. mabye one day ill pickup one of the modified boots.
