Opinions on ebay rotor/pad package (ebay)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/350Z-...pagenameZWD10V

What do you guys think? Shipping is steep, but still cheaper than the dealer...

Otherwise, what rotor brands are recommend for a 2003 G35 sedan (non brembo)?

You do realize that the rotors and the brake pads are the ONLY things that stop your car from becoming a 3500 pound missle right?

Dont waste your money and time on cheap parts. Especially the ones that will save your life and maybe anothers. They might be good brakes...but I have never heard of them before...and I have no idea what people sell on E-Bay at times. Brakes are one of those things that you want to KNOW what you are buying and the quality of the metals and workmanship.

Go to Performance Nissan Parts and order the OEM non-brembo rotors and the Hawk pads. Total cost should be less than $400.00. Even if you choose the Project Mu versions...they are less than $100 per pair I believe (pads).

I cant even answer the question in regards to what other rotor brands are good because they are all going to cost you in the range of at least $200.00 per set. The OEM versions are the cheapest that I can see on this site and they will offer the best compromise between stopping power and longevity.

Just my thoughts...but its up to you on what you are going to buy and how much you want to spend on for those parts. There are certain things that you just have to spend the cash on. Otherwise you might be paying more for saving a few.

^ wow, first typo from XLR8SN!!!!!!! "Esspecially..." you hanging around fobs man??? !!!!! nah, just playing man.

anyway, i totally agree with XLR8SN. no need for aftermarket rotors unless you're going for looks, and have added a good amount of extra hp. also, you can go to other sites to get the brake parts. performancenissan isn't always the cheapest.

...thanks!

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I was doubtful on the ebay package myself...but I apreciate the feedback. Still looking for other possible rotor/pad packages if anyone knows of any.

Awwww dammit. Had to go and correct that. Cant do two things at once.

Stoptech rotors looks pretty good. So far everyone that I have asked, has no complaints about them. Using Rotoras right now with Axxis pads. Hard to really say since there is no track to burn them up on any more. But for the street, they are OEM levels at the very least.

As for the clutch.....well....I am still killing the engine with the light weight flywheel. Making a complete idiot of myself out there...oh well.

I have the Exedy twin plate. Clutch chatter...most definitely. The light weight flywheel takes some getting used to though. Need to rev it a bit to just move a little. But once its going...then its no problem and the engine does rev a little faster. Its going to be even more fun after the LSD goes in.

wow, Exedy clutches are good as f.uck. anytime you change to a higher holding clutch, chatter will have to happen. have you driven a twin disc carbon Blitz clutch?? that s.hit is crazy holding power! chatters like a ****, but handles the 900rwhp well.
