Warning!! G35 Stolen...!!

My sister told me a terrible news tonight when she got home from work. You see her boss bought a brand new 06 IP G35 coupe for his son for college about three months ago or so....
Some dumb **** stole the damn car in front of their house in Salt Lake, Moanalua I think they lived! How the **** did they break in, and drove off the freakin' car??????? How???? **** me! I got an 05 coupe, and I got an open garage. Anybody smart enough to explain how did they steal it. All I could think of is that they towed the whole car!!
I thought people here only steal Honda's or Acura's! I guess they filed a police report, and still missing. Watch out fellas for those who don't have an enclosed garage. Keep an eye on your G! I'm pissed!

also, keep an eye out for G35 coupes that now have '06 projectors and can't show a receipt or proof of purchase. that will help the police.

I had asked the same question -- whether it was easy to steal a G -- on the main coupe board a while ago. Most people agreed that the only way was to tow the car. It's scary that some people would do this! Hope they recover the car!

+1 on towing the car. Probably a setup with a rolling dolly in the rear. Some have said you can switch out the ECU and do it, but it would seem much easier to just tow it.

It does have an immobilizer, unless they have a stolen key or towed it, I wonder how they stole it...

Maybe the RFID code was stolen

While it is probely not likely, there are an increasing number of cars being stolen due to someone grabbing the RFID code from their Intellikeys. Did he have the keyless go system on the car?

All your RFID Car Keys are belong to us. > http://code0range.net/node/1098

Stolen G.................?

WTF you guys live on a fu*king island, how bad can
it be? How many chop shops are there in you area?
This kinda stuff really gets my blood boiling and a
good reason for me to add a shock sensor to my
factory alarm system. Parts are only $25 and that's
cheap insurance.....they won't tow my G....I hope!!
