Attention all Infiniti G35 drivers. This year, for the first time, as G35 owners, lets all participate in the Toys for Tots cruise. It will be a worthy cause in providing Christmas toys to the children of Hawaii as well as donating food to the Hawaii Food Bank.

This cruise is being done for Hawaii's children, so that the families who can not afford toys for their own children, will have something to give them this Christmas. It would be nice for all of us to gather and participate in giving at least one new unwrapped toy, and canned good to this cause. To be able to give back something to the community that we so often take for granted, and more so because it is for "our" children.

This event (coordinated by the Marine Corp.) will take place on the 30th of this month. The starting point is Magic Island at Ala Moana beach park. The cruise will start at 10:00A, check in time is at 8:30A. However, from the other clubs experience, arriving early would be MOST beneficial in getting everyone together and organized. There will be many other car clubs participating in this event as well. We strongly suggest that people arrive at 7:00A to get a parking space and to be able to stay together as a group for the roll out. The cruise will take us through Waikiki down Kalaukaua Ave. ending up at the Waikiki Shell, where we will be dropping off the Toys and canned goods. As it stands now, plans are to have the Honolulu Police Department escort the cruise through out the cruise route.

As mentioned, this is a charity event and each person who will be participating is asked to bring at least one new unwrapped toy and a canned good.

After the event, all club members will reconvene at another nearby location to be announced early next week. Nissan Motor Corp. of Hawaii will have an area for us to park our vehicles, have tents ready and a lunch area set up for our use. There will also be photo taking for prosperity and future usage possibly in the next Nissan Magazine. We are also negotiating for the possiblity on having a catered lunch bento for about $6.00 per plate. Details will be posted soon, otherwise, lunch will be on a buy your own basis.

Looking to have about 50 G35 owners out there representing the group and willing to donate their time, toys, and canned goods to others for this coming Christmas. More information and details will be coming very shortly, and updates will be sent out as soon as they are received. If you know someone who owns a Nissan and is willing to come out, please let us know. Even if they are not a G35 owner, I am sure that the other clubs will gladly have you join on in.

We will be participating with ALL of the Nissan clubs. Such clubs as the Sentra club, SE-R club, Maxima club, Altima club, Xterra club, Z club of Hawaii, and ourselves the G35's. Once again, looking to have at least 50 owners out there involved in this year end event.

Please respond as soon as possible whether you can make it or not. If there are any questions, we will also be glad to answer them for you or find the answers for you. This event is for the good of the children during the Holiday Seasons, please if you are able to, make the time to support the Toys for Tots event.

Meeting has been arranged. Everyone was e-mailed in regards to that last meeting. I think that AOL was not letting some e-mail through in the past. It could of been stuck in there. Everyone who had AOL e-mail accounts, all e-mails were rejected. Anyhow, if you can, please come to the next meeting this coming Thursday at 6P in Nissan Motor Corp.

I am assuming that people are reading this correct? Is anyone going to be meeting us for this event? It would be nice to have us all out in support of a good cause. Plus, do you really want all the others to outnumber us?? LOL.

New update for Toys for Tots Cruise!!!!

One of the Sentra members family owns a restaurant and his family is willing to make bentos and deliver them for us. The cost will be $6.00 and this will include tip, and tax. Included will be BBQ beef, and chicken, spam, mandoo, and rice. Drinks will be on a buy your own basis. We will be meeting up with all of the Nissan clubs at KCC by 1:30. Head counts for the food needs to be turned in by the 25th. Payments will be made at Infiniti at the cost of $6.00 per person, by the 26th this coming Wednesday, please.

We have about 15 members confirmed to go. Anyone else coming? We had more people came out for a general versus for a charity event. Dont forget, the event is THIS SUNDAY the 30th. Some of us will be there @ 6:00-6:30 to hold spaces, but everyone needs to be in early as possible. By 7:30-8:30 at the latest due to the difficulty it will be to hold the spots by then.

Lets represent at the Toys for Tots. Everyone sign up and join in for a event that benefits the children.
