What is the order registering my out of state car here?

Safety -> Recon -> DMV?
or
Recon -> Safety -> DMV?

Get safety inspection first.

Thanks Meat.

So it's Safety, Registration, then Recon?

Don't you need Recon first?

When I shipped my Integra from LA before selling it to get the G, I had to get Recon before anyone would give me a safety check for my registration.

Maybe it's different for cars originally from Hawaii though?

Never done a recon so can't help there. What do you have that you need recon for? If it's just exhaust don't worry about it.

I don't know what the order is, but I'd try safety first. If your car isn't too modified (or even if it is), they'll just give you the safety. From there you can do your registration. Recon you'll need to make an appointment for, or run the risk of showing up and not getting your car looked at.

If you're a new registration you have to get your safety before registration.

After you already have your tag (if your renewing) you need your registration before your safety expires or else you'll be going to the registration place twice.

the main mod that the safety inspectors check for is suspension. if he see that your g is lowered, he'll automatically ask for recon papers. if you're on stock suspension you dont have to worry about recon.

with suspension mods:
Recon -> Safety -> DMV

with no suspension mods: don't have to bother for recon
Safety -> DMV
