I loved using Zaino when I was in Florida. I wish I had continued using after arriving here. I think there are 1 or 2 places to get it on the island but I can't remember the names.

yeah, I went on to the website and the guy in Aiea is the distributor in Hawaii. I wanted to talk to anyone who uses it and see the results. Thanks

The first application is pretty time consuming but after that it's a breeze. My car was as slick as ice. I'd probably have to re-paint my car to do it again with all of the water spots I've acquired here.

Since I got my car in 05 I used nothing but Zaino..... I try to wash once a week when I can.

Arthur up in Aiea sell Zaino and Pakshak they also carry the Zaino line. Along wiht Zaino I ues DF concors microfibr towels.

Kinda pricey though to get everything you need. Averages about 15.00-20.00 for your normal stuff z6 is under 10.00 new stuff is about 30.00, but it last awhile.

awsome stuff. it's a little pricy, but it lasts a long time. The last coat I put on was over 6mo ago and water still beads. it's a little unusual in the application but once you get the hang of it it's really quick. The big pain is the first time you do it, you should do at least 2-3 coats and set aside a whole day for the job. It's good stuff.

thanks for all the info everyone. The website says to use a terry towel to buff, but I was looking at the microfiber stuff to use instead. Its been 10+ years since I owned a dark colored car, so its learning all over again. Want to get it right before I start anything. Been reading great things about the Zaino. Used to use Zymol when I had my black GLI, but that took a lot of work. Im old now and have less time to detail. Not much grease in the elbows anymore.

I use the MF towels from Sam's Club, works fine. Just be sure to wash with dawn first, it would be a good idea to clay the car too, to remove all traces of wax. Zaino won't work well if there's wax on the car, it needs to fill in the pores in the finish and the wax buildup would prevent that. One more thing, once you Zaino you shouldn't go to automatic car washes anymore, a lot of them use wax and your future applications of Zaino won't work. You'll need to start over. I only hand wash, unfortunately I don't have the time and 6 to 8 weeks can go by before I wash my car, it's filthy as ****. But after the wash it's all good. The Zaino works that well.

Ive been reading that the MF towels are better. Good to know about using the clay bar first. Just got to find the time to it all. Thanks again.
