Adding Subs to Stock Sounds

Hey guys, I recently picked up an '03 Sedan without the Bose system. I wanna add the subs and amp I had from my old car, but don't have the $ for a JDM double DIN conversion.

Anyone on Oahu have any experience adding Subs and an amp to the stock headunit? I was reading about using a line out converter to add RCA pre-amp outputs to the stock headunit. Anyone know of somewhere local to get these? How do you wire it up? Thanks a bunch

Thanks, I'll def send him a PM. Does anyone have a sub with their non-Bose system? I know adding a sub is easier with the Bose system because it has an external amp.

true...but my that's for the front and rear speakers....bose system doesn't have an extra rca output for the sub..which is why my system is tapped w/ a line out converter to run the amp and sub...although i bought the car w/ a LOC already tapped in.
