Any Decent Mexican Restaurants on the island?
After living in Cali for 4 years, I miss good cheap Mexican food.
For sit down stuff, Toritos in Market City is pretty good, as is Jose's in Kaimuki. If you're looking for stuff on the fly, Taco Del Mar is not bad, but the prices are a bit steep for what it is. Wahoo Tacos down at Ward was pretty tasty too, but their price to poundage ratio makes Taco Del Mar look like a steal.

one of the most authentic mexican restaurant (because its a mexican family that all work there) is on the corner of kapiolani and piikoi, i forget what its called, closes at 8pm though, across from inspiration. its really good.
The one in Kailua is right at the main intersection next to the gas station. Parking sucks but the food is good. Also in Waipahu near Longes there is a hole in the wall one that is real good, sorry do not know the names off the top of my head.
^^^I believe that might be Los Garcias or something like that (same side as the Shell, across from the Chevron). Never ate there though.
I like Cisco's in Kailua, it's by the bowling alley.
I don't like Jose's in Kaimuki.

Back in the 95-98 timeframe, there was a small mexican restuarant in Waimanalo (was called Bueno Nalo)...may have moved over to Kapahulu. Food was great and cheap!!! Just my 2 cents worth...
