i've got a few questions..so if you have coilovers, it doesn't matter how low it is just as long as your alignment is within specs? and what about the suspension test? what if your ride is too stiff?

 

simple as that no pass!!! no rebound effect no pass!!! sucks i know but thats the way it is.

I agree. From what I've heard the hardest part is just getting an appointment for the guys to look at your car. No appointment and you're probably not going to go home that day with an OK on the recon.

 

Also what is the regulation on safety check slave. And does anyone have the number for the recon station. Thanks

 

one thing that got me on my recon inspection was not having the stock amber bumper lights I had white with amber bulbs he failed my recon for that.

 

wow.. I didn't know that the lenses had to be amber also.. I thought just the bulbs at least... a lot of cars just come with clear lenses nowdays...

 

^ pur the amber on I got turned down for recon sticker because I didn't have them cost $20 bucks since they charge you every time you come in. They did give me 90 days to get my ambers but it would still cost $20 if I remember for the next time I go so I never went. Now I wish I would have since I have new brakes and rims now...

 

yea my car never came with the amber so i guess i need to buy those.

 

what are the regulations on rims? what if the rim size is the same(19") but the tire is smaller? pass, no pass?

 

if i get foam custom fitted for my front and rear bumpers I should be able to pass recon right?

 

would a carbon fiber hood pass? i dont need to get my safety check for another year and a couple months so if anybody does theirs before me then let me know.
