Infiniti service rules!!

Just wanted to share my unbelievable service experience. My 04 coupe went to the dealer today to have the 15000 mile service checkup. I wanted to get that done and also have them check the cooling system because it almost overheated on me during the weekend. Needle was almost at the top! Jason (service rep) calls me with some bad news. The fans on my car need replacing and would cost nearly $700! The car is out of warranty but because it has low mileage, Jason was asking Infiniti to maybe get me 50% off. The car has to be fixed, so I okayed the work and hoped for the best. Later Jason calls and says that Infiniti covered the cost in full! Infiniti service rocks! Just wanted to thank Infiniti and especially Jason who went out of his way to help me.

Mahalos!

Yup I agree Dude! So far evertime I bring in my G, and it always truns out I get Jason as my Service Writer! And he's been Da Bomb!! He is very thoughrogh. He keeps me Updated on the Status of my G. and does all the Requests I ask of Him, Like not having my G get a Service Wash! to the Loaner cars I need to get to work! So far very Impressed with INFINITI customer service. And hopefully stays that way or gets even better in the Future!

also had a positive experience in Dec 07. i avoid the dealership like the plague, but felt that I might as well get all my warranty items fixed before it expired... In the end, i was impressed that they took care of everything that i asked them to.

1. broken fuel cap tether clip (plastic pin holding the plastic string)
2. squeaky window (TSB ITB05-034)
3. Seek button on radio sticking on faceplate (TSB ITB05-061)
4. velcro for emergency trunk release clip became unglued

5. I also asked them not to wash my car.

all good. they gave me an 08 G35 sedan loaner. and fixed everything in about 5 hours. got the survey in the mail a couple weeks later-- gave 'em highest marks on every item.

Great to hear the good experiences. Jason helped me before and he seemed very good. How is the service department in working with cars that are lowered? Do they do a good job in avoiding scraping the front bumper or exhaust as much as possible?

Was that you with the TSW Thruxtons? And yah, Jason is the best. Whenever I find broken s**t I hand it over to him. He returns the favor by sending me referrals. Cheeeee.

I wish! My car is basically stock on the outside. Only Gialla grill and stock 19" on my 04. Did more stuff to the stereo with a double din kenwood and 4080 box. Installed the reverse mirror tilt from Kpierson. Do the newer G's have this feature standard now?

I don't understand, isn't it a 4 year/60,000 mile limited warranty? How can you be out of warranty (unless you bought really early in 04?)?
