have any of you guys ever installed headers by yourself or is there any diy step by step that you guys know of cause i dont wanna pay 500 for the install. thanks.

i paid 180 to install test pipes in my car. i tried doing it myself before hand. the bolt are put in the weirdest places. really hard to take off. i say just pay somebody and you dont have to hassle.

 

well the test pipes were easy to install and took about a hour and a half thanks to dvsmeth0dz and well im thinking about installing the headers myself i just need to know what i need and how to do them.

you need swivels, wratchet wrenches, extenstions

 

finally got my headers installed thanks to vakamon and sonics. i highly recommend sonic's, great pricing and great people. i will do business with them again. so the headers sound great too. im so happy.

the headers make your car deeper or more raspy? what did sonics end up charging you?

 

yea has a deeper tone to it and the raspy part is cause my y pipe but im replacing that soon. yea sonics did a great job but send your car early in the morning though cause you know how our cars are. well the price was 380 and that was the best price on the island, everyone was charging about 500, 600 and some were 700 and get the car tomorrow.

 

that is not a bad price at all took me about 8 hours with full tools

 

yea i was gonna do it myself but i get frustrated very easy and that wouldnt be good so i just paid for it.
