worst road
90% of the roads on oahu suck *****...but isn't it funny how everyone complains about the condition of the roads and when they actually do work on them (i.e. kapiolani blvd) those same people complain about the traffic? they are probably taking so long because that road was so buss up and it got that way cause it probably wasn't repaved for a long time, which means they probably had to dig deeper and fix more that they thought.
i paint lines on the road so please don't bang me or my co-workers out there!!
i get to hear all the cuss words and see all the stink eye's when we cause traffic! come on people we are just trying to make the roads better for everyone.

P.Diddy, you are not to blame. You and your coworkers are doing a wonderful job fixing our roads. Kapiolani Blvd. never looked better. Seriously. Except for that intersection of Kapalua and Kapiolani.
Let's face it, there are a lot of miles of road to fix and thank goodness we are focusing on that effort now and not later. The City budget allocated millions for the repair of roadways in 2009. I think the roads have been neglected far to long. The State should fix up more areas of H-1 though, like the section between the Moanalua Rd. and H-2, wouldn't you guys agree? Patches of asphalt everywhere!
Maybe we need better quality control? Inspectors not looking at every detail? I dunno? It's just tough to understand sometimes how our roads could get so bad. Maybe the humidity has an effect and saturation after a rain fall prolongs the drying effort; traffic (vehicular loading) plus the quality of materials?
Just wondering... One thing for thought, is the City installing concrete bus pads onto Kapiolani Blvd? Seems like we need them there.
K, nuff already, gotta go start drinking. Alohas!
