As far as installation, if you have already loosened your shift ****, it's easy. If you have not already loosended you shift ****, it depends, could be easy or could be hard. Although the stock shift **** is threaded, it could be on there TIGHT! Safe (proper) way of removing the **** is to pop the ring at the base of the shift boot and clamp the stick, then loosen the **** (counterclockwise). You need to put a cloth between your pliers and whatever you are clamping, or you will fuup your stuff.
