Anyone here on Oahu send their chip to Technosquare for the reflash? If so, how long was the turn around? Any difference in performance?

 

Thinking about it.....wanna do my APS plenum (fall '05), Stillen CB TD exhaust (next week), and Crawford cats (fall '05)installs first b4 I do my TS ECU so they can custom the flash to my bolt-ons.

I would estimate the turn-around time to be 2 days (USPS overnight express to socal) + 1-2 days ECU flash + 2 days (USPS overnight back to Hawaii) = approx. 6 days????

What you might do is if you are going to LA for vacation, take your ECU with you. 1. You won't be driving your G while you are gone and 2. You will already be there and won't have to pay the $13.95 x 2 USPS Overnight Express charges.

You could always buy an extra ECU from King Infiniti, don't know what they charge.

i was on that site last night and i read that there based in California. Send overnight shipping, one day to flash, and overnight shipping back to you.

Yes, you can probably approximate it 3 days as long as you send it OVERNIGHT via UPS or FEDEX but that will cost you some $$$. Using USPS Overnight will take usually 2 days transit time even though they claim overnight.

I understand that this upgrade must be good considering all the good reports but I must say TS must be making a killer profit on a 5 second reflash of the ECU. lol

you cant buy another ecu for the TC flash. there is a built in immobilizer in each g35 ecu if you bought another stock ecu it will not start your car and i believe that 04 models are currenty non flashable due to the fact that they are ulev restrictive. You can tell if your ecu is flashable if the ecu has double letters on it one letter one number or two numbers is non flashable.
