help? a/c line

help? a/c line

my intake rubbed my a/c high pressure line and leaked all the free on. i heard theres a way to maybe aluminum weld this thing but dont know any shops or anybody that can possibly do it. i went to go get it check out at a shop and said it will cost almost $500 to change the line and recharge the system. kinda not looking forward to paying $500 to replace a line if i can get this thing aluminum welded, if anybody can help me out, lmk asap, thanks!

i just asked my friend and hes gonna pass mainly because he says the ac line is more on the thin side. i tried looking through my phone for this guys number who did some welds for me on my bike but i guess i dont have his number anymore..

look through the phone book under automotive/welding. just call every shop and ask

I wouldn't do it because it is very thin and it's also the high pressure line.

I rubbed through one with my CAI and now I need to replace it again because of the turbo.

how can you stop it from rubbing through? just wrap the ac line right where its rubbing or something?

well anybody know how easy it is to replace it?? i looked at the online fsm and didnt seem too clear. but il probably just try to figure it out.

if u do a search you will find a thread that is stickied and most people will cut a rubber hose in half and cover the ac line. thats what i have. works fine for me..
