Anyone know which camcorder is good?

i just had a baby and want to capture all of these moments for later on.

done a bit of researching but still unsure of which to get.

im thinking more towards a sony, then canon, then samsung.

looking to spend in the 300-400 range..

external memory and HD.

anyone know of a good one???

For a baby I'd recommend a good digital camera that shoots HD video.

- You'll be able to take good still pictures and HD video with only one camera.
- Much smaller and easier to have with you at all times to use for those moments you'll want to have forever.

I'm sure there are some cons to this route so hopefully some other parents or photog guys can help out.

I would definitely go with a Sony or Canon, and if you find a good deal then Panasonic.

Also I would go with a Flash Memory Camcorder instead of a Hard Drive Camcorder because of price. You can just buy a 8GB flash card and copy the videos to your computer.
