Sounds like a cool gimmick. what is it made of? Is it made of aluminum, steel, or phenolic material?
I wanna know if you'd lose lowend power and gain highend power. more than likely you'll drag **** on the lower rpm range..but gain some power up top. the reason why I know this is because when my brother still had his gs-r, we swapped the stock manifold for a jg-edelbrock manifold. the gs-r lost time in the 1/4 mile but we gained some mph at the top of the 1320.
I think you should complement more volume with velocity. something like a 350EVO Throttle Body should do the trick.

Yeah, I hemmed and hawed about the spacer vs. the new Crawford Cast Plenum. I am going with the cast plenum from crawford. They said the first shipment should be coming out this week. I know it costs more but I think it probably performs the same but will look better. I really want to upgrade to Nismo v3 CAI with bypass to complete the black powder -coated plenum and the black intake tube that comes with the nismo.
I am also looking into 2 stage wet Zex system, anyone done that yet? hehe
