Interior Trim Gap?

Hey guys just wondering if you guys have this as well?

The top part the doors where 2 rubber trim pieces meet, don't really meet up too well. I just had the windows tinted but can't remember if the gap was there before.

Thanks.

Paul

Hmm i'll have to check...

My car is at Infiniti for service... They are trying to see what's making that huming noise... But they gave me a FX to drive around in the mean time, man is that thing hefty lol...

yep mine has it also....

I almost seems like the wide piece was put in to far foward... i'm gonna try see if i can shift it later...

Bad news about the humming noise... They said that it's a normal noise because all the cars they tested did the same thing... We might just have to wait to see if infiniti corporate provides a TSB later.. They said that the 04's did it too though... strange.

Thanks for checking guys. It's not bothering me much but I was worried that my tint shop forgot to put a trim piece back on.

As for the humming, mine started to go away. I notice only once in a while now. Not like every shift like before. btw, I have like 870 miles now. Don't know if yours has more or less. Maybe yours will slowly go away too.

Thanks again!

Paul

Yeah mine's not as noticable... I usually turn up the stereo anyways...

It's easily noticable if you engine brake or off throttle from 4k, Infiniti is sayin it's a FEATURE of 6MT's hehehe.

Oh the sound system in the FX has alot of Bass lol... But other then the extra Bass I think the stock system in the G35 sounds better, it just seems to have more dynamic range.
