License Plate Holder

Hey everyone,
I'm a proud new owner of a 2005 G35 Coupe. My salesman was telling me to get this floating license plate holder for the front bumper so they don't drill holes into the bumper. Does anyone know where I can pick one up? He told me to go online, but I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

Thanks

Stillen puts one out. Make sure you physically confirm the size of the tow attachment since there are two different sizes for the 03/04 models. Have no idea what the size is on the 05 models.

I'll post a link as soon as the slow-*** Stillen site lets me.

Yeah i'm waiting to pick one up too...

I think someone was gonna do a order for strictly-z for the front mount lic plate. It's either that or do the Paper Clamp mod.

Also, Stickly Z has one as well. They are still on vacation I believe though. ANyhow, the Stillen one is basically the same.

Stillen or EverythingG35.com-

Instead of using the adapters I attached my front plate on the cheap way; using standard binder clips.

Chargie808 - one question. I thought about this too, but my bumper was already drilled when I got it (and so was every other car in the lot). How is it that you're getting an un-drilled bumper?

When I ordered my car I specifically requested to Richard Crabbe not to have the dealership drill holes in my bumper. He promised no holes would be put in the front bumper. When my car was waiting for me in the parking lot it was as promised with the front bracket stored next to the spare tire. I heard from Richard that there were other people who requested not to drill holes as well...

Its something they automatically do UNLESS you specifically request them not to.

GZire,
I was pretty lucky, I didn't preorder I just walked in the other day and asked for the color I wanted. Apparently, they just got a new shippment and they had the color combination I wanted so they pulled it around with all the plastic still on it and with less than 10 miles on it. Richard specifically asked me if I wanted the holes drilled or not. Apparently some of his former customers didn't specify or were really upset when they found out they had a choice. So I guess from now on he asks.

Yeah I ordered and SPECIFIED that I did not want drilled bumpers...

Especially from the fact that the blue one in the showroom has crooked holes lol...

Too expensive alright; I wouldn't. Will I be pulled over for no temporary paper plates in the front?

I doubt you will get pulled over for no front license plate as long as you are running temp paper plates. Reasoning: Its paper; what happens when it rains? Anyways my car did not come with a temporary plate for the front. I left it like that up until the expiration date.

Hawaii so nice, I forgot it rains here.
Asao: Could you please share/attach/post a pic of your "Binder Clip License Mod"? Thanks
