Not getting my APS TT.......yet.

Hey everyone,

The doc is moving to Ohio in late July. Why? "the weather!" lol. j/k

1. State of HI DOE sucks (for my kids).
2. Cost of living sucks.
3. Real Estate prices sucks.
4. Wife's family in Ohio.
5. Better opportunities to mod/tune/track/drag my G in OH.
6. Big 10 Football!

Chalk me up to the "brain drain" phenomena that plagues Hawaii.

I will be finalizing purchase of a house here in OH tomorrow! (I am writing this post from OH) Woohoo!

2800+ sq ft./4BR/2.5BA/1.8 acres/3 car garage/full walkout basement/custom wood deck for $256K.

I seriously don't know how people qualify for $450K+ houses in Hawaii!?!??!

AND.....there is a authorized APS dealer/tuner 35 minutes away from my future residence!!!!! Maybe able to get TT next year....maybe...lol. Gotta get the Titan 4WD first for this winter as I sadly garage my G.

doc

hey doc, congrats with the move! what part of OH r-u moving to? i'm assuming it's in the 'burbs; i met someone from cincinatti and they said it wasn't that great (if any of you from cincinatti is reading this, sorry!)... as far as the g, i heard that you could still drive it in snowy weather, just as long as it isn't like a blizzard, right? or you could trade it in for an '05 G35x (all-wheel drive)!

oh, and yeah, DOE schools suck! if you were still going to be on the big isle, you could always send your kids to Hawaii Prepatory Academy - i have friends who grad from there, not quite Punahou/Iolani, but still pretty good from what i hear. anyways, good luck!
