Although I'm living in California now (since '99), my family & plenty friends still live on Oahu. I'm from Aiea, originally.

Anyways, I was just home around this time last month & whoa - get plenty G35s on the road, ahh? Solid, solid...hehehe!!!

Nah, to be honest, I don't really do the rubbah slippah & surf shorts thing...I'm more of a jeans & button-down shirt (or t-shirt too) kinda guy. The "townie" kine...BR, Gap, li-dat...hehehe

But as for those fakers up here...I just look at it this way: they WISHED they was from 808...so, I just take it as a compliment knowing that I AM from Hawaii. What you think? Better to look at it that way, ah? Its cool that they like be like us, y'know? Spread da Aloha!

Hey Jimmy Chow, wassup! That name sounds either like a restarauteur (Mr. Chow's) or a Hong Kong action figure! hehe, nah j/k! Anyways, I was just wondering, since you're in Calif, how good is the nav system on the Infinitis? I'm flying out to San Diego next week and I was flirting with the idea of a test drive to see those out firsthand. I drove a QX56 once in Hawaii and the nav system kept telling us that we were driving down the I-101, yeah, on Aiea Heights Drive! Plus, I thought that Calif. laws prohibit drivers from looking at front-seat video screens?

I probably shouldn't be complaining since my company's paying for everything, but what's to do in San Diego except maybe visit Tijiuana? (I probably shouldn't say that since I work for an insurance company!) I'm thinking about driving up north to LA, either during the week or the weekend before I return to HI.

Post some pics of your car - must be pretty sick! Anyways, come visit Hawaii sometime!

Mr Chows is a chain of Chinese fast food (like Panda) up in the Bay Area...haven't seen one in LA, though.

As for the Navigation system...it works pretty good. I don't think they work in Hawaii...hence the 101 thingie on Aiea Hts Drive! ^-^

Otherwise, on the mainland, it works GREAT!!!

Whats up Mr. Chow! I just got back from socal and I missed the Stillen day by a day. I called Jerry, GP1, and was supposed to hook up with Ikaika, Krazy Hawaiian, but I had just a day to do everything. Plus, with the gf's family, I did ALL the driving...even to Vegas.

Anyways, its nice to know there a lot of (Hawaii) locals up there. Next time Im up there and have more time, I will give everyone a call.
