Aloha !

Can you guys help me find a good place to get tires locally? I looked on Tire Rack but hopefully there is somewhere local that can give me competitive prices and good service. I am looking for any recommendations on Tire brands as well as shops too.

Thanks everyone!

Paul

i've been buying my tires from Costco, good price, free balancing & rotation for the life of the tires. They can special order some brands.

however, i haven't had to replace the tires on my G yet, so i don't have any prices to share.

Paul another option if you cannot find the particular tire series/profile you are looking for is to order from Tire Rack and drop ship the tires to one of their installers down here.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will check out Munky works and Costco. The thing about Costco is I'm worried they'll scratch the wheel when they mount the tire.

dunno if there's such thing as good and cheap? hehe.

might wanna try fuzions. they're pretty cheap tires and offer pretty good handling, wet traction, and its quiet. Well, at least the front that is (running fuzion zri 245/35/19 in the front and falkens in the back )you can try ask samson @ revision audio. he's the guy I got my rims from...he says he can bring in tires also. ...or maybe sen_jen might know of someone?

If you're looking for cheap, I think Costco & Sam's Club are cheap.

If you want service, and are willing to pay a little more for good tires, you may consider Rex Tire. They have the Toyo, T1 tires that are incredibly quiet (even quieter than stock). Haven't had to change the G35 yet, but I replaced the stock with Toyo T1's on my Gs300 and found better handling and quietness. they look pretty agressive too!
