so i'm screwed

i got pulled over tonight on the H-2 just before the mililani cut-off. cop tagged me doing 102 in a 55. ****ty part is i wasn't speeding up untill the last 2 miles before mililani. i have a court date on the 17th of november...well i think it's the 17th. if it's not then it's the 11th. i honestly don't know what to do. if i get my license revoked i lose my job at the car dealership. i really doubt i can squirm my way out of this one. i'm lucky the cop didn't check me for D.U.I. even tho he knew i was drinking. maybe this is his way of being nice to me...i don't know. the judge is going to hand me my fine so i'm not sure what i'm in for....

mike.....if you got any suggestions for me i'm all ears

See if you can get a plea bargin. Might have to pay a fine like hell...but perhaps get the "penalties" reduced.

If you were caught for street racing...then that might be a done deal though.

get a lawyer!
it's a 50/50 chance though, but with a lawyer, you stand a better chance at getting some things reduced. good luck!

word. some judges see how bad you need to keep your license when you appoint a lawyer. it automatically takes a chunk of the penalty away. like David mentioned about the fees.....that's a given. i paid a grip.

DANC... deferred acceptance of no contest, got caught doin somethin baaaaaaaaad but im only on probation right now. Depending on who your judge is and how good you laywer is, it is a hit or mis situation. I ended up paying a few hundred in fines and i have toshow up some time next year for a compliance thingy but i think overall i got away easy. Fyi, you can only try for the danc if you have a clean record to begin with. Lesson learned, i will never "test" my top speed again. Stoopid keeds trying to impress chicks. Well, at least you didn't go down for reckless and dui. Then you may have gotten laid out during traffic while all your friends drive by and point at the G. Wish you the best of luck man......
p.s. a good lawyer goes a long way

Well speeding is one thing but drinking and driving is something I really look down on. When you see some of the outcomes and the toll it takes on a family you just can't really tolerate it.
Well that said some of the responses you got are true and are some ways to go about taking care of it.
I'll PM you some info....

Please don't become a stat. I don't want to be the one that shows up to the scene.....

Personally....I wouldnt want to see you wearing your uniform period.

Now at a gathering or at a restaurant....thats okay with me. Just let me grab my food before you get to it....okay.
