C5 owner calling out 350Z owners for a freeway rundown. I'm giving safe alternatives

This guy is from EFI Unlimited. I am assuming that the sticker that is refered to is a EFI sticker.

Not good to have the guys from FH jumping on to this board to create issues and race challenges. No offense to the board...just the type of mentality that comes from there due to the age groups.

Just created a APB watch on ALL the guys from EFI...greeeaaaat not good to flag your own club with a street race challenge on an open forum that the HPD and others patrol. Sweeeet.

Let this challenge go and just bury this post.

 

I'm not accepting any of his challenges to a street race, but I hope he takes my challenge on the track. If he's from EFI, that's not cool. I know Dave from EFI and, he doesnt condone that kind of B.S. Anything like that will reflect a bad name towards EFI - and that's something he doesnt want with all the hard work he's done bringing EFI to it's current status. I'll probably be a tattle tale and get a hold of Dave.

 

Oh dont get me wrong.....I know already that you would not take it on the streets. You along with several *ahem* others of us are too old for that kind of thing.

Anyhow....yup...supposedly he is in EFI Unlimited. Per a post in my350Z..........

Actualy all my car friends here in Hawaii are in a car group called EFI...
The club is Huge and has a lot of TV/radio and sports members..
Many who are famous...
The majority of the memebers are well off to rich..
So the lowest cars in the club are a few EVO's STI's and a couple 350Z's...
My C5 isnt much higher on the totam pole...
Most of the cars are Z06's Vipers Ferraris and Lamborguinis porshes...
Theve had many EFI dyno days and I have seen everyones numbers who didnt want them disclosed...
I have raced with some of them on Closed courses and raced many of them on the street..
My best friend and neibor....Has an M3, 2 supras, and MDZ, a DSM 300 rwhp Eclispe and a few others I cant remember..."

Calling out NE Honolulu hawaii 350Z..

Hi....I dont think my car is all that. just looking for some friendly Highway runs...
My C5 is an A4 with 2.73 gears. It is NA and currently has 370 rwhp...
I would like to run a 350 Z on the freeway (late night/ early morning) from any roll speed the 350Z owner wishes..
Due to my mild power level I would prefer that the 350Z is supercharged or TT'd to ensre a good race..
However I will except a race from any 350Z... "


Not the type of "free" advertisement for an established club that would be wanted I would assume.

We drive imports and already as it is we are targeted by the police because of it. Already as it is I have been pulled over for weird things.....anyhow, we really dont need any more attention called to us because of people trying to incite a street race. Its going to be a guilt by association kind of crap. Great promotion in trying to get another better, larger, track facility built. Yes...that was sarcasm.

Yes I am in a bad mood and this kind of display of blatant stupidity kind of irritates me. To challenge anyone to an illegal race that would endanger anyone else that happens to be on the roads at that time, it would be either you, me, your girlfriend, aunt, uncle...someone one of us will know, is irresponsible and plain stupid. Hasn't there been enough crashes already?? And people complain about the cops cracking down on us. It's because of things like this........*sigh*.......Hello...cause and effect. Action...and PUBLC DEMANDING a HARSHER reaction.

Drive safe...this is depressing.

Once I'm sure my car is nice and broken in and everything is running A-OK, I'd be more than happy to race him on a track.

 

it's confirmed. i just spoke to Dave of EFI and this mystery C5 guy is not in EFI at all. apparently, this person resides near G35_Five_0, and jdbinspired.

 

Yah, he's not in EFI, but that's not of importance - at least not now.
But he did put up, so I'll give him props for coming out and getting a new experience. Those JN trackday events that he participated in is NOTHING compared to SuperLaps. Both RSKY and C5 had a blast, I'm looking foward to there return, and hopefully they'll be an influence to other drivers that havent heard of us. The time attack times they made are irrelavent because they've came out to have fun, IMO all grudges aside...that's all we're there for.

So I encourage all of you to come out to to at least spectate. And if you guys decided to drive? There's no pressure and everyone's helpfull around the drivers grid. And with the track closing SOON, Now is a good time to get a new taste of motorsports - our gates are always open.

SJ, Chris, and Jeremy...thanks for making it clear. For the record, I will state it myself. This guy (Laron) is definitely not affiliated in any way, shape or form with EFI. If he was, I'd kick his *** out real fast too. I hear he was actually even talking chit about my car, but that's another story....

 

I'll be registering on my350z to make sure we are clear there. I also talked to RSKY about putting his neighbor in check.....seems to be claiming alot of BS. Who's dyno #'s did anyone want to hide? Who was street racing "MANY" times? What a tool!
