Custom Enclosures...

Does anyone know of a good shop that is not messy, and that does a good job at fabricating custom enclosures for subs and amps?

I just want something simple, and that looks good.

Any suggestions???

SenJen: Thanks! I'll get in touch with 808gcoupe.

Meatshackle: I already got the subs and amps (MCA did a custom job on my trunk before but got rid of the enclosures). Thought that 4080 box does sound nice... i wonder how hard it pounds...

Very hard. Although it only holds one 10", it is very professionally done, and depending on the sub, can be very loud. I will say, with a JL Audio 500/1 amp and a JL Audio 10w6v2 sub, I can easily pound out much louder than I would ever want.

Click on the link in my sig, and while the majority of the pics are from my carPC install (still in progress), there is a couple of the 4080 box and sub

And I'm married, so I don't "hang out" much...

Caelric: The 4080 is from Eclipse right? Couldnt find anything on their website... do they also make one for the passenger side? Nice your setup BTW.

No, the 4080 is from a guy on these boards who custom makes them. His name is screenname is 4080. PM him to purchase one. His price may have changed, so I won't quote what he charged me, but it is in the 300-450 range. Note that that is for the box, and does not include the speaker. However, the box is very high quality, and fits perfectly in that left side corner of the trunk. It will hold a 10" subwoofer. He doesn't make one for the passenger side for the coupe, because the volume is not there to properly hold enough airspace for a 10" speaker. I think that he might make one for the sedan, though.
