PULLING codes....SES light.
Don't you need a scanner to pull codes?
My SES light, VDC off light, and SLIP light turned on at the same time last week and when I took the car in to the dealership they replaced a throttle sensor under warranty.

count the numbers of blinks.
Do the ECU reset but dont clear the codes
1. turn ignition on
2. count 3 seconds
3. step on the pedal 5 times in 5 seconds
4. wait 7 seconds
5. step on the pedal till the CEL starts blinking.
From there the first long blink is the indicator blink followed by a series of short blinks with short pauses in the middle.
ie. 1 long blink - pause - 6 short blinks - 6 short blinks.
that indicate you have a P0166 code. If you have multiple codes -
ie. 1 long blink - pause - 6 short blinks - 6 short blinks - pause - 1 long blink -pause 7 short blinks - pause - 2 short blinks.
that would indicate you have 2 codes, P0166 and P0172.
