Squeeky brakes...

I noticed last night that my front brakes are squeeking. Almost like a scraping sound when I first apply the brakes, but goes I go harder on the brakes. It happens every time I brake, except for when I'm in reverse and brake. Don't have time, or a place to jack up the car and check things out, so just wondering if any of you have experienced this and what you did to remedy it. I'm shame as hell driving around and people turning there heads to look at me when they hear, "eeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkk!" muahaha

yea, my brakes do that but only when i'm reversing out of my driveway. then they stop. i know other ppl have had this problem too. something about the 05's. i took it to infiniti and they said that they'd have to leave it there over night and have them try after the brakes are cooled down, (like they don't believe me!!!)

Had the same problem. Was starting to get really bad, so I took it down to Infiniti. Jason T. took care of the problem under the brake warranty. They cleaned out the brake dust that collected and the squeel stopped. But one month later it came back. Took it back to IOH and this time Jason had the front and rear pads changed out. He told me that the pads were wearing out prematurely...I had this done with 10K on the odometer.

yeah, shoot the brake kleen and see if work. if not, it's the pads. does your rotors look okay?

^^
if you use brakleen, you're going to probably need to reapply some antisieze on the ears of the pads.

yah, the brakleen is pretty much a solvent and cleans whatever's in it's way..it'll eat up the antiseize.
