Top Secret Hood Dampers at Eurosport

So I walk into Eurosport today just for isht and giggles, and I happen to see Top Secret hood dampers for the cpv35 sitting there in the glass case! I was like, "wutinda?", so I asked the filipino guy, (forgot the dudes name) how much for them. He said he's selling for one of his customers, so he called him up and the guy told him he wanted $350 for it. I said shoots, sold. I buy em right now. Then he goes, oh, try wait, I think one of his friends was going buy em. So he tries to call the guy again, but he said he never answer now. ****ty deals. If that's the case, no display em in your showcase! Ahh wells, was gonna be an inpulse buy anyway, but still. If they guy selling em is on these forums, and your friend flake....holla. haha! I have the tein ones for the z33 brand new in box, but i just rather have the goooold ones. muahaha!

You know, you can paint the TEIN dampers. Thats what I did. Painted them black to match my G. I was going to buy the TS ones, but the shipping ended up stretching out and out, and out, and 5 months after I paid, I got another email saying it was going to be at least another two months. Screw that, I got a refund, and bought the TEIN dampers off eBay, drilled the correct holes to fit them, and painted them black. They look sharp!

^hey dave! yup, thanks for the info. I pm'd you about this a few weeks back, and you emailed me pix of where you drilled the holes. I think I might as well just go this route too. The teins were sitting in my condo for almost a year now, but i'm just way to lazy to install them. Plus, can't work on cars in my condo. =(

I thought people were having probs with the hood buckling. Did they fix that issue?

No idea, but I am not having any problems with the hood buckling, or falling down.
