state pothole damage claim

state pothole damage claim

has anyone had any experiences with puting in a claim for pothole damage? im curious how much you get back...

There is no real "set" amount. A lot of it was a proration of the States estimated value of the rim and/or tire at the time of the incident versus how long you had it. They take depreciation and tire usage into account.

You will need all receipts and dates on the receipts.

also, take a clear photo of the hole as well. it's not required, but it sure is necessary for you to get a complete paid replacement.

good info.. but i have no idea when or where it happend cause its on the inside and was during the 40 days of rain we we had to drive through the mine fields of H1, fort wiever and nimitz and i hit like 20 a day going to work and home.... haha

oh and sen jen.. doesnt lowes make the tightest intakes!

^ i highly doubt it's worth the time if the rim is still okay. if you can't ride on them, then put in the time.

yeah, lowes intake and checkers cherry bomb really makes a difference. i think my lightweight cragars play a big role too!

i know its prob a wast of time.. just pisses me off that a 2 foot wide and 1 foot deep pot hole ever 100 feet of road is common. i was going to get new ones anyways i guess. maybe some RAYS

Does it really matter which pot hole caused the damage? Couldn't you just take a picture of any pothole. There's tons around the island.

lucky for me i knew when it happend. I wasn't even going +35mph it bent the rim. next day tire was deflated. took it for repairs sent a copy of my reapir receipt and the photo of the damage rim/tire. Four months later they sent me a check for the full amount. I should of sent them my alignment bill too

yes, they're super. my friend has them in burning black on his twin turbo supra IS300, and another friend of a friend has them on his dg coupe in cali. it's really really nice. 3 pc. forged too.
