Anyone have any experience with Ichiba High Flow Cats? How is this one, I've heard positive reviews on the products that ichiba makes, but never on the HFC's yet, any help would be great
Thanks

I have the cats, Its been 3 months and a HUGE metal fatigue crack has appeared. I'm sending them back this on Monday. They said no problem that they would replace them. The crack was in the metal between the front pipe and the cat housing itself. The welds are fully intact and are well done. Its definitely metal fatigue so the question is, is this an indication of quality? Time will tell. As for performance, oh ya, a definite increase, Sound, GREATLY INCREASED. Actually very little differance from running test pipes but they do not throw any lights.

Well I got the cats off today. The crack was a stress crack right above the central weld to the actual converter. This was definitly a stress crack BUT it was primarily due to too think of stainless steel pipe. While the cats look wonderful, beautifully constructed and welded, I cannot recommend them at this point. I'm sending them back on Monday and when I recieve the new ones I'll mic them to see if there is any differance. A engine dampner might have prolonged the issue but it would have eventually would give out.
