Borla Headers?

Borla Headers?

will Borla Headers provide any gains?
how about sound?
is the install easy?

im being offered a good price for them

i believe the borla headers LOST power. their exhaust is good though.

^^^He is correct. Maybe someone remembers the thread or has a link that can help out. That was just one instance though. That doesn't mean that you will lose power if you go with Borla headers but it is always good to look into what people are dynoing at with various products.

i never heard of anyone losing power but i heard that there were no gains on the borla headers.

NO header install will be easy on a VQ

i think they lost some, gained some, so it averaged out to nothing across the entire band. versus other header brands that gained everywhere

i heard borla headers are the worst...........i would take topspeed over borla, but crawford over topspeed

Actually, you are correct. I tried looking for the thread but couldn't find it. Overall there was no gain but there were certain areas in the rpm band where the G lost power and gained in others. Overall it was zero gain.

While I don't have any experience with the Top Speed headers, you might want to look at Forced Fed headers. I had them installed recently and am very pleased with them. And they're independantly proven good gains on the dyno! Check out my review in the Reviews section for more info. I'd purchase them all over again if I had to do it.

Just another alternative...
