I have searched and I didn't find a definitive answer.
Which do most of you run?
What problem(s) have you encountered with these plenums?
Flaws like cracking, leaks?
I wanted to retain my engine cover would I have to cut it or would it fit back on?
Do these come with the gaskets or would I have to buy the gaskets from the dealer?
And lastly which has better gains?
Thanks in advance for answering my questions?

Bro,
The ONLY thing I heard about the Kintex is that it will DECREASE your HP and Torque for NA (Naturally Apsarated...spell?), BUT....
It will gain around 50+ HP with FI (Forced Induction)
That's all I've heard.
Hope it's not totally wrong, and hope it helps bud,

not really... your refering to the ssv, thats for FI and will decrease NA.
the kinetix is good, i love mine i think it has little slight whistle to it though ( i like it).
crawford is a favorite on this site.. a lot of people have it and luv it.
also consider the spacer...
all these will show very similar gains the difference is so small that it basically comes down to personal preferance do some research and just see which one you like. you wont be able to use you stock cover with any of them. the only one you can use your cover with is the 5/16 plenum spacer.

I believe most run Crawford V5 or plenum spacers. Don't hear or know too much about Kinetix. I have Crawford V5 on my new 05 coupe and ran it also on my old 03 sedan with no issues. Looks good without cover, comes with all hardware needed and adds power. I believe spacers add most power, then Crawford and then Kinetix for NA applications. Not sure about FI.Originally Posted by neo_rambo

GOT MODS?
Yep, I'm in the process of picking up a Crawford V1 (older version) for my 03 sedan. Looking forward to getting it bolted on. I'll post feedback once it is.

i had a V4 and it was great. since it wasnt metal it always stayed cool and cut down on the heatsoak. it was a bit noisy for my tastes, but i think its a good mod. the spacer generates a tiny bit more power. if you want a nice growl, go with the kinetix.

Thanks for the thread guys. I'm itching to add a plenum or spacer.
If I understand correctly, I need a 5/16 to maintain the cover.
The spacer has similar performance/gains as the crawford.
Partshippers quotes the basic 5/16 at $260. Better pricing out there?
I also want to add the oil pan spacer kit.
Who carries both, the plenum spacer, and oil pan spacer?...would like to save on shipping.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
