Exhaust Question (G35 vs. S4)

As some of you know, I sold my G35 last month. I've had my S4 for about 5 months now, and it's time to start with the modding. I had a Borla cat-back on the G, and that was about the volume I was looking for. With the S4, every exhaust I look at has both a resonated and a non-resonated (louder) version. Does anyone know whether the Borla exhaust for the coupe is resonated or not?

Thanks alot

Tyler

I don't, but having come from modded-turbo experience, you might do really well to looking into upgrading the down-pipe as well. You might go for the non-resonated system for flow, as the turbo itself is going to muffle things a good deal. You're pretty much going to get that mid-level *whaaaaa* characteristic to turbo cars either way.

I have a 2006 S4, so there's no turbo (N/A V8)...

Thanks, I'll Call fast intententions later today, I've heard they're working on a new system for the S4..

Also, the resonators do not have any affect on the horse-power, it's purely for the sound, so the initial question still remains:

Does anyone know if the Borla exhaust is resonated or not?

Thanks

Thanks a lot. I ordered the Milltek Resonated Cat-Back, should have it on the car next Friday. It has 4 100mm (just under 4") tips, so it should look pretty good. I'll let you guys know what I think. As for the car, it's incredible...but, I will admit there have been times that I've missed the G.
