Dont et me wrong, I like kinetix products, but the SSV is over-priced POS if you're N/A.....I think i've only seen 1 N/A dyno, and that lost power w/ the SSV........almost every dyno is F/I'd....now granted 1 n/a dyno isn't anything to compare w/, but it's a lot better than trusting 10 but-dynos.

So how much do you think a MD spacer adds on a NA motor? How many Dyno's have you really seen of a NA with a Kinetix ssv on it? None right!? I can't find any on here or my350Z sooo??

Not that I know of. Considering that Plenum Spacers have done nothing but hinder the rev-up, I cant see any additional "money value" gains from the SSV, unless if you have FI.

what are you honest thoughts on it? I mean if there isnt a lot of dyno time with out, obviously theres going to be speculation out there, but maybe theres a reason most arent using it.

Yea it's called $800 + shipping is why not many people are using it.

Yeah thats been my common assumption as well. I guess if you figure that spacers cost 300, then whats an extra 5 for an entire swap out of the plenum. I know on most other tuner cars swapping the IM makes some major gains. Then again most of these cars are using forced induction, where breathing is of utmost importance. On an NA, I guess it could be somewhat restrictive, if the mix is becoming too lean, but thats what fuel management is for. Some people must just have a hard one for Kinetix.

I have been thinking about getting one of these and doing dyno comparrisons between it and the crawford plenum... both tuned of course...

I do like the look of the SSV but look at the chamber... It is kinda puny...

I will have to agree with you. I was told when I bought it that I should have my ecu re-flashed to get the best results. Don't follow the pack lead the pack. A lot of people I am sure like this piece and would love to have it on their NA motors but don't want to spend 800 dollars for 5 to 10hp. It looks so sick under the hood! When you go to a car show and pop the hood and have that teamed up with a long tube polished Injen CAI and blue pulleys and a blue 10-wire grounding key it's impressive.
