itll fit. ztube + oem air box or ztube + stillen

performance wise it wont really matter IMHO its just for sound. "theoretically" a short ram intake will give you best performance but nothing youll be able to feel, IMO

There needs to be a "sticky" thread on z-tubes, I think i see about 4-5 threads about them every day.

K&N vs Stock Paper filter results.

I just replaced my paper filter with a K&N drop-in. Just for giggles I did a before and after test using my TORQUE program on my Cell Phone. I did 0- 60 times with both. I showed an improvement of 0.2 sec. The paper filter had 27K miles with slight black soot.
Seat of pants shows the engine pulling stronger near redline. I'm happy with the results in that it was only $41 on Amazon and I don't have any more engine noise, unlike if I had gone with an expensive tube set-up. Several sites have Dyno tested sets of different tube intake units with the results not being much better then stock. Some even lost HP.They just make lots of noise and empty your wallet.
