Exhaust Questions... LOTS!

i have searched sound clips and ive lowered it to these 2

Stillen and Nismo

ok so onto the questions:

which will sound more like an F1 race car (high pitched, but not ricey... ex: Ferrari F430)?
i plan on getting resonated test pipes and headers, whats the likelyhood of me getting pulled over if i keep the RPMs under 3 (how i usually drive)? what could happen to my car if they find out i have test pipes??? i heard it could get impounded and crushed... =(
where the cheapest place to get either of these systems?
last but not least, any other exhaust combinations you would try?

thanks all

Probably neither. You have to remember that F1's are turning at 17,000 rpms and even higher.

The Ferrari thing will be tough. They spend a lot of time (as do all car makers) tuning their exhaust notes, if you want that kind of sound you'd need to work on your intake too.

Sorry, I wish I could have been more of a help.

i realize f1 cars do 17-19000 rpms, im just looking for that high pitched race tone.

the nissan dealership by my house is actually able to get the weldina exhaust system, is that the one they use on their race cars?

any suggestions as far as test pipes and if they're blatent and asking for a ticket in so-cal (mind im pretty much under 3k rpms at all times) will it still be obvious i have test pipes?

Buy digcam at best buy, take sound clip, post the sound clip, and return the dig cam

As for the test pipe, I have a h/f flow cats and I doubt if the sound from sound clip would be much louder... with h/f cats, its definately louder but not truck loud, so i dont think police would really notice it (unless that police is g35 fans or he stands next to your car lol)

--assuming you press ur gas normally, not hit it deep until 3000 rpm then change gear

P: I dun think those 2 exhaust sound would ever come close F430 exhaust note.... F430 exhaust note is too dyaaaaaaam....sorry....

Cool

LIUser,
If want an exhaust that has a more exotic sound, try listening to the Invidia G200. When I added the Stillen Cold Air Box, it made it louder.
I'm sure test pipes would be louder, then added an open air intake to make it even louder.

Go to here to view two vids w/ sound of my G35 w/ Stillen intake and Stillen exhaust. (If you have a sub or good base, it'll sound a little more like reality, as it's a bit deeper of a sound than it sounds like without much base I noticed...)

Hope this helps!
